We design with purpose and people in mind.

Early Light is a creative, design-focused development studio, shaping innovative, people-first web projects with clients and partners in activism, cultural production, and identity.

We believe the web is a living commons, one that should reflect care, justice, and imagination. Each project is a chance to resist the disposable and create something enduring, something that amplifies voices and reshapes how we connect with one another.

Land Acknowledgement

As a studio made up of immigrants, and descendants of immigrants, we acknowledge that we live and work in Tkaronto, on the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. This is land covered by Treaty 13 and bound by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement to share and care for these lands and waters. We recognize the history of broken treaties, dispossession, and ongoing colonial violence. We commit to carrying out our work in ways that honour these responsibilities, with the land, and with each other.
